The successful entrepreneurship program run by Growing Hands, is back for 2015. The program has been a success for two years. The organisers attribute the success as follows:
Join our expert business presenters for practical and empowering live workshops. These training sessions are designed to increase your sales, improve your bottom line profitability, enhance your financial acumen and most importantly, position your business for growth. They will present winning ideas, deliver interactive training and provide coaching to assist you with practical and implementable business solutions.
Startups and Established Businesses
This year, the organisers are offering two programs:
- GROWING HANDS 2015 START-UP PROGRAM
Designed for the aspirant entrepreneur wanting to enter the business environment and learn what is required to succeed in business.
Six to seven weekly sessions of two and half hours are planned from 31 January 2015 till 14 March 2014. These sessions will cover
Am I ready for business and entrepreneurship? An introspection workshop.
Starting-up my new business and making the move;
Business planning & financing;
Sales and the use of technology to grow sales;
Marketing including digital marketing;
Effective small business leadership;
Growing your Start-up business with control.
Cost: Nominal or sponsored. Your financial can help fund and empower!
A screening process will be undertaken to identify suitable candidates to participate in the program. - GROWING HANDS 2015 ESTABLISHED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Designed for established entrepreneurs wanting to make their businesses more sustainable, develop growth acceleration strategies, and receive mentoring and improving their business and management skills.
Six weekly sessions of two and half hours are planned from 9 May 2015 till 13 June 2015. These sessions will cover
Personal development, positive attitude, change management and personal branding.
Leadership (with delegation, mentoring and building organisational capacity.)
Financial control and management
Growth strategies and seeking business opportunities.
The use of technology for business development and financing.
Digital marketing including Social media, email and video marketing.
Cost: An affordable fee will be levied for this program
A screening process will have to be undertaken to identify candidates suitable to participate the program.
Due to tremendous demand, applications to the programmes have been closed. The organisers have however created a waiting list, and will (hopefully) be able to extend training to even more entrepreneurs. The program is also calling for voluntary contributions from presenters, and those wanting to financially support the program.
All sessions will be held at Auditorium at the University of Johannesburg (Bunting Road Campus). Directions will be available on registration.
